My Sweet Mama

For the passed 2 weeks I have been fortunate enough to have my mom here to help me with my kids. I can't even begin to express how much help she has been to me. Having a second child so close to my first has been quite the adventure... to be honest I have no idea how I am going to make it, but I know somehow I will. After we got home from the hospital I would lay in bed in the mornings with Tate, while my mom took over Lilly, and I would hear them in the kitchen singing songs and having a great time. She spent most of her days reading books and playing patty cake. Not to mention she had a little shadow wherever she went! Today when we had to say good-bye Lilly started crying and only wanted to be with her grandma, which if you know Lilly, that is a HUGE compliment because she won't go to anyone willingly. I just want my mom to know how much I love her and how grateful I am to her for all of her help and love. I truly couldn't ask for a better mom, I am so lucky.

So nice that your mom could come out for such an extended stay! You will be one busy mama, that's for sure. Good luck with your move. We'll make it down to AZ some day and will be able to meet your two kiddos. Tate looks SO tiny in this picture. So cute!
