Lilly.. Lately!

Lilly just gets funner and funner! Her little personality is really starting to sprout! She is such a sweet little girl. She rarely cries and she is always smiling. We were blessed with such a happy baby. It makes me nervous for this next one... My aunt over Thanksgiving said, "How did you get such a sweet baby?!" It must be Josh's genes because my mom always told me she hoped I had 5 just like me! Hopefully Josh's dominance will continue on... Its amazing how much they learn and how well they can coordinate with their hands in such a short period of time. She is doing new things each day! ...... Don't ask me what kid likes prunes, but for some reason this girl does! .....

She seriously watches tv, just like a Hill. We will be hangin with Jake, Josh's brother and the 3 of them will just be glued to the tv. Its crazy. So she sits up in her bouncer and just watches, this time it was Charlie Brown Christmas.

Uh-Oh! It is all beginning...

I bought Josh a secret present for Christmas and Lilly and I opened it. She loved all the peanuts! I wish I could have gotten a pic on her face when I dumped them on her!
Unfortunately, we don't have a tub at our house, so we are improvising with whatever we find! How cute is this little ducky? She loves splashing and kicking her feet!

She loves the water!

Josh was helping our landlords put up Christmas lights, so I decided to have a photo shoot with Lil. She loved looking at all the lights...

.... for a while!

Annual Christmas Dinner

We hosted the annual Christmas dinner among friends this year. It was so fun! ...Although we missed a few people that couldn't make it. We did a white elephant gift exchange and played several rounds of Mafia! The funniest "appropriate" gift given was an old TV, that guess who ended with? Yep, us! Just another piece of junk to get rid of! Ha ha. I just want to thank everyone for helping out with the yummy food and making the night so wonderful.

Earlier in the day, Laura and I were setting it all
up when we realized our little girls had the same
Christmas dress... so we decided to dress our little
girls in them... Aren't they sweet?
Isn't she such a doll? I love looking at her
smile for other people!

Darren and Taylor AND Dave and Laura are not pictured... but wanted to make note that they were there!

THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!

Our trip to Arizona for Thanksgiving

There aren't any pic's for day one, so I thought I would just say how thankful I am for the Holiday's this year. There is just something special about spending them with a new addition. The sun is brighter, the grass is greener, the leaves are more colorful, and yes, even the snow has a pretty whiteness to it... despite the degree that accompanies it. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to share these special days with. The Lord truly has blessed us with so much abundance. I am so grateful for our freedoms here in America, regardless of who the new President is, (that one is for my mom), and am so grateful for the happiness the gospel brings in my life and that I can worship how I choose. I want my little Lilly flower to know how much I love her and that darling smile I wake up to everyday! I also want Josh to know how much I love him and how grateful I am for his hard work and dedication to go to school full-time and to work full-time so I can be home with Lilly. I love you so much too! We also want to say that we miss Joel, Josh's brother who is on a mission and can't wait to spend the holiday's with him next year! We love you family and friends! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

Day 2.. Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving day was rainy and overcast, which was a nice change for the drought! Even though I only wanted to see sunshine! The boys spent the morning putting up lights while we girls made food in the kitchen!

It happens every year... the burnt marshmellows that is... My first, and possibly last attempt at my own lemon creme pie. Patti why does yours look so much better? It was a hit though... Both were eaten after 2 days!

Sleepy time with full tummies...

Can you tell I love her?

Day 3 Lights and More Lights...

Lilly loved playing outside with the lights and with Daddy... New found love of otter pops, it sure beats formula!
The lighting crew... built this star out of pipe.. they built a tree too! Pretty Creative Boys!

Lilly BELIEVES!

Day 4

Lilly loves the water! She could stay in there for hours if we would!! A fun swim in the heated pool!
The finished product!

Up-close.. notice the tree to the right they built is taller than the house!

High-Maintenence!

The bouncer on the floor looking up at me while I get ready is just not good enough for Miss Lilly anymore... She has been promoted to the sink! I probably shouldn't cater to her whines, but she is just so cute I can't help it. I have never seen a baby who wants to be in the middle of everything, (meaning all my conversations and/or activities) than this little one. She HAS to be in the same room as me at all times, and she has to see me. I guess I was the same way. I know that's hard to believe.

I think she already likes make-up! This is her new favorite toy!
Isn't she just a dolly?
