Seattle 2009

We were invited by a couple friends to take a trip to Seattle. We had never been before and have always wanted to go, so we decided to go! It was such a fun trip and we were able to see everything we wanted to. We stayed in a little port town called Port Townsend, about and hour and a half outside of Seattle, to which direction I have no clue. It was awesome! We went into the city several times, along with visiting the famous town of FORKS, and many of the portal towns along the coast. We took the ferry across to Bainbridge Island. It was sunny a good portion of the time which was a suprise! We didn't even bust out our umbrella once... we just chose to get wet!! We had so much fun, and it was great to go somewhere we had never been before. My favorite night was when we ate at the resturant at the Space Needle. It is very pricey but totally worth the experience atleast once. Seattle is a beautiful city, and if it wasn't so darn rainy I could see myself living there. But for now, I have decided I am a sunshine girl! Thanks to Amy and Mace for the wonderful time!

We went to the Aquariam...

Rode the Merry Go Round by the Space Needle...

Took Lilly on her first Ferris Wheel...

She loved looking at all the lights!

Our dinner at the space needle...

The view from our table...

Even though I'm not a die-hard fan, we decided to "say" we had been there!
Bella's House...

Josh got taken out by a wave down there, he came back up soaked!
Sight seeing in Port Townsend...

Josh getting creative with the camara..
Our little lady's favorite place to be!
Incredible huh?
Enjoying the sun roof!
Trying to capture a duck...
Port Poulsbo, which by the way had the BEST fish n chips out of everywhere we went. Just ask Josh, he had them EVERY single day we were here!
The infamous...

The flight museum...

We both couldn't believe they had name a plane after Josh...

Tour on the water...

The house in the middle there is the famouse Sleepless in Seattle abode.

My favorite meal...

Our lives as of late..

Lilly learning to crawl.. now she is everywhere in seconds! We have had a nice couple of days, so we went with a friend to the farm at Thanksgiving point, it was fun!!!!

We took Lil to the park on one of Josh's days off... Thought it was warm enough but not quite yet!

Just one stunning evening...

Grandma Carson came in town for a visit.
I made an array of baby foods for Lilly... she doesn't love them, but I am going to make her love them!!! Here she was munchin on some bananas..

Or squashing them with her fingers...

Loves those honeycombs!

She crawls up the stairs and is everywhere now!

This chubby one gets so proud of herself when she makes it up the stairs!

Valentine's

This year we decided to stay home and have two couples over for dinner and yummy dessert. It was nice to be able to spend Valentine's with those we LOVE!
This was the Valentine's I made for Josh and brought to his work. My friend Chelsea inspired the idea! Thanks girl!

Baby Boy!

The nurse said he was all boy!! By the way that is an appendage other than a leg or arm. Natalie thought it was a leg! Guess he is already taking after his father. Cheers! We are very excited for this little guy to arrive!!

I love this happy little girl!

She had the hiccups.. as usual.. and at the end its so funny because she realized Jake was filming her and she immediately just turned, it was probably funnier in person, but we were dying laughing!

snow, Snow, and more SNOW!

For a time I thought it would never stop snowing! But guess what? The other night on the news the weather lady said, the "coldest days are over!" HOORAY! Josh always reminds me there are a couple fun things you can do in the nasty white fluffiness!

We went to a little park right by our house that had a hill for the boys to get warmed up on before they hit the slopes! ... Even though to the "regulars" the season is already half way over!
